Causes of Parkinson Disease

 

Pakinson is an idiopathic disease its cause has not been found yet. Most scientists believe that it is a combination of genetic and environmental factors.

 

Who gets affected by parkinon disease ?

 

It is not possible to predict who is affected by Parkinson disease. In general, both men and women are affected equally and symptoms first appear, on average, when a patient is older than 50. Parkinson can not be prevented from occuring.

 

Those who are under age 40 gets affected by young-onset Parkinson a subset of parkinson. Although the condition is clinically the same, treatment options may differ.

 

It is not yet clear what role does heridity hyas in parkinson. Most cases of Parkinson are believed to result from a combination of genetic and environmental factors.
